Coutinho is a fantastic talent but were much better side points wise without him.
Think it was 1.70 with and 2.35 without per Game average

If you would rather Brookes than the likes of Madison who I personally thought was super for Leicester then I'm glad you aren't on our scouting network

Would that not be down to getting in a top keeper, Robertson settled in last year, VVD and Fabinho settled in this year rather than by simply taking Coutinho out of the team?

It was based on the time he left in Jan compared to first 20 games since August .

His departure coincided with VVD arriving didn't it? I do think there's something in it that we can play more as a team without him. I know he used to score a few absolute stunners but the amount of shots he used to take from outside the box was quite ridiculous.

Coutinho is a very good player but lets be honest he is not world class.

Correct Van arrived Jan 2018 and Coutinho left the same Jan .
If I remember correctly ? our defensive record was very similar for the rest of the season , then I could be wrong .
Personally thought he was taking to many impossible shots outside the box than looking for the killer pass .
When he was on form we were unstoppable at time but when he wasn’t we suffered.

Forget about the pot shots. Its his guile and quality on the ball as well as his eye for playing through some perfectly weighted balls. His rate of goals per pot shots came down considerably each season I think.

I'd have him back tomorrow or preferably the morning of either the Old Trafford or Goodison games.

He hasn't set the world on fire since moving to Barca, but would he be (or even appear to be) a better player, if he was still at LFC ?

Until we find a suitable alternative, we have a gap as a result of his departure and while you are right, he's not world class, he was still a very good player and we could have used him this season.

Werner wound still be on my radar as back up to Firmino even to push him fir his spot .

One from Ajax , Hakim Ziyech would be my top choice , then one from Nere’s or Donny van de Beek

Is Werner over his ear issue? Apparently he can't play when a stadium is too loud?

I just remember it being a thing from when Real Madrid were sniffing around, and it was apparently the reason a deal didn't happen at the time. I know he wears ear plugs, and after looking into it, there was a game against Besiktas where he had to put his hands over his ears and be substituted shortly after from it.

Except unlikely circumstance, the departure of Nicolas Pépé LOSC is fast approaching. The Ivorian International does not lack solicitations. Inter Milan had won the first salvo by offering € 70 million to Lille. The Lombard club was joined by the two finalists of the Champions League. The winner, Liverpool, is very hot on the record, as his coach, Jürgen Klopp, who could separate from Mohamed Salah, and would like to use the southpaw in the register where he exploded under the orders of Christophe Galtier: eccentric right side for bet on its speed and its incursions in the axis. The Reds seem to have moved up a gear and have come close to the 80 M € bonuses expected by the Dams, the market price estimated by the leaders of the LOSC for an attacker who scored twenty-two goals and gave eleven pass

22 and 11, great numbers in fairness.
