There are a lot of crap iptv providers out there. There are also some excellent ones. I've always had two on the go so if there is a problem with one I have a back up. Probably a waste as I've never needed a back up. Sky, BT, Bein sports, US sports channels, all 3pm kick offs. Have never missed a Liverpool match. Costs me about 7 euro a month to have both so couldn't justify the huge prices the big providers are charging. Kodi with real debrid gives me every TV show and movie out there too
Thanks for all the replies to date btw. I'd have dumped all PayTV ages ago and just gone with Saorview/Freeview and a couple of friendly apps, were it not for: - quality - the Mrs. wants to record sh1te regularly - F1 There's no doubt in my mind that Sky are taking the pi$$ and while I've been through the old cut your price or I'm leaving conversation numerous times with Sky, it's always the same old 45 minute conversation followed by a short term (3-9 month) deal. Headwrecker !
I'm not sure that I would have the intellect or the enthusiasm to switch to iptv or or any of the dodgy providers at this stage. I'm not even sure how much I'm paying for Sky anymore! I did jib Virgin broadband after the takeover so that's some savings I suppose .
I’m paying 130 a month for sky multiroom , ultra hd ,all the movies , sports and Liverpool tv. I get BT free with eir broadband
Analogue is getting turned off soon, getting cut back to about 5 stations in the next couple of weeks.
I've trialed this,it's top notch and it arrived on my tele with zero stress for me so I've signed up for 6 months. Thanks to Kevin for sorting it.
I pay €80 for basic, sports, HD/boxsets, multiroom and 2 Sky go, 1 of which my dad uses for all his sports Have the use of BT sports app off someone with Eir Broadband I engage in the 6 month bluff all the time but have no intention of cancelling it The service always works and herself is happy recording all the TLC shite on her own tv Considering changing broadband provider when Virgin contract expires although they are probably the best The trickle of stuff like the PGA golf, US Open tennis and couple of European leagues to internet providers could become a massive pain in the hoop though. I was more than happy with it up to the summer
Never realised TV and broadband had gotten so expensive. I have had mine free for the last 4 years as an ambassador for one of the providers, when new channels are launched I just have say it's working or it isn't.
I'm paying 53 for virgin broadband and 98 for sky TV with all channels then 27.50 for BT. I need to get on top of this, nmhadnt thought about it but that's over 2k a year!
Currently on an offer with Sky. 44euro for TV which includes movies and sports. Paying 50 then for Broadband with Eir so have all the sports channels.
Paying €62.50 for Sky, HD package and second box for the kids. €40 for Broadband with Rapid Broadband. €10.99 for netflix. €113.50 in total per month.
