    Hi,

What is everyone paying for Sky TV these days please ?

... I came off an offer recently, half tempted to ditch them if I can't get something decent out of them (but want to keep the F1, which may prove a bit of a snag).

At the moment I'm being charged €46.50 for the Original Bundle plus Sky+HD which seems far too much, so am wondering what everyone else is getting to give me an idea of what I can pitch for when I phone up to haggle / cancel.

    Thanks

For €100 you could easily buy a firestick and an iptv sub for 12 months and get everything that's on the sky platform including ppv.

I get all my movies and shows online and pay about €50 a year for sports.
Only watch about 2 hours of tv a day so I could never justify paying for a Sky sub or similar.
    Mad money.

IPTV, 25 stg every 3 months. It’s flawless 99% of the time.

Would bin the basic virgin sub for TV when latest contract is up but herself records all her shows and watches them later on. Think it’s 94 for tv and broadband. To just get broadband alone is 70 odd.

I'm paying 80 a month for TV,broadband and phone with Virgin. The way I look at it is that it's not even the cost of a night out.I have Sky Sports, the kids have their Disney Channel and the missus has her series links and it's worth it not to have to put up with all the shite that goes with the dodgy stuff.

Is that a special offer? That’s a decent deal for tv, broadband and Sky sports. We pay 94 and no Sky Sports

We pay virgin €50 a month for internet and phone, analogue tv signal comes in anyway so no need to pay for that.
£45 for iptv for the year, job done.
Anyone who has had a bad experience with IPTV, I would suggest it was the provider. Loads of charlatans out there unfortunately.

I know you asked about Sky mate, but since BT have the F1 have you considered Eir?

I have Broadband, Eir IPTV, and house phone with all calls (inc mobiles) for €62 per month.

If nothing else its a stick to beat a better deal out of whoever you settle on. When my "intro offer" (making the monthly €92) ran out with Eir, I called them and said "Nope, I can get the same from Virgin for €59" and was promptly put on to "Customer retention department" (I shit you not), and given a 12 month deal at €62. No prizes for guessing what will be happening when that 12 months run out.
