on another note I was listening to the Anfield wrap today. They were talking about Gomez.

Seemed to believe if Guehi goes to Newcastle palace will be in for Gomez straight away.

If it happens and we sell I hope we have enough time to back fill him.

Rumours of Arsenal interest in Darwin before the window shuts. Can’t see him being happy with the lack of game time under Slot but I don’t think he’ll see much more action at the Emirates either. Strange one but you never know if Chiesa coming in will have a knock-on impact.
Hopefully, Chiesa won’t be an addition to all the duds we’ve bought from Serie A.

Darwin just got a 5 match international ban and a 20k fine for his part in the kerfuffle at the Copa America

Looking forward to Chiesa signing. At 10m ish, if he has even the slightest desire to re-establish himself as the class act he undoubtably was pre ACL injury - we've bagged an absolute bargain. Doesnt seem to have lost a great amount of his pace, stats are showing him as the second quickest player clocked in Serie A last season

Looks like Nunez is a Jota injury away from the first 11,and Slot doesnt like to overload his players so in a CL season we'll probably see a fair bit of rotation. I think there will be plenty of minutes opportunities for all 6 attackers this season, and after that it will come down to who makes the most of their chances. Id say the chances in general of the 11 who started our first 2,still being considered our best 11 in 3 months time, are low.

Well that's a good thing for us, he won't be going half way around the world for their next 5 internationals and reduces the risk of him getting injured as well.

Would have been a few starts for him to get minutes at least!

Saw it mentioned in a few sites.

Regardless of what they are offering I wouldnt let him go there. They are already in bother not being able to register Dani Olmo, so I cant see how they are going to loan in Bajcetic and get him registered - unless of course La Liga have different rules regarding registering loan players.
Imagine loaning him there and them NOT being able to register him and then have him sit there twiddling his thumbs until we can get the loan canceled and then not be able to sort anything for him till Jan.

If the Barcelona offer is true, the arrogance of those fuckers is outstanding, anything other than a spittle laced laugh in their face would be dissapointing.

12 month loan deal with option to buy for €30m, and they will kindly insert a buy-back clause for LFC of €70m.

    Bunch of fanny's.

Dissapointed we didnt sign a 6, but with Gomez staying I think we're well covered everywhere else. A bit of luck with injuries and we can have a good season.

Luck yes, but also Slots footballing philosophy I think might see the physio room slightly less crowded this season.

Incomings: £41.5m Outgoings: £71.8m Liverpool end the transfer window with a positive net spend of £30.8m. If you don’t count Mamardashvili, the net spend is £59.3m.

No real issue with any of the outgoings.

Lots of issues with the lack of incoming. The arousal of a bargain from the recruitment team as opposed to addressing the needs of the first team hopefully doesn't come back to bite us.

If we got Zubimendi in it would have been a 9/10 window
