They're only a few wins away from securing a Europa league spot as it stands

His argument was, they've already qualified for the EL and nice and it all as it would be to win a trophy, they should focus from here on in on getting top 4 and CL football next season.

Postecoglu was asked if he was worried about Man U catching them? His reply was should Man City be worried about Spurs catching them, because the gap is the same?
    Fair point.

Ffs. Just our luck. Has played in every game, and was on the pitch every minute of the season for Villa bar 86 in total. 45 of those minutes came on Saturday before he went off injured. No Ramsey or Mcginn either.

Fine player and one I would've loved to see klopp get his hands on, I reckon he would've moulded him in to a superstar.

This is what I don’t get about the city case. Why can’t they take the most recent breaches and apply penalities. They don’t need to do them all in one go. They have applied to different points deductions against Everton. If

I think the big difference with City is they've been accused of fraudulent accounting and are denying it,so the case has to be made that they're lying. Whereas Everton is basically just addition and subtraction, with them having plead guilty to both charges. The only contentious issue was what they were entitled to discount for their P and S calculations, which again doesn't take a lot of time(relatively)to rule on.

Taken at face value City's books show a club making money, Everton's show a club losing it hand over over fist. Both cheated, both got away it as far as I'm concerned. Everton pleaded that they are making efforts to comply yet on Friday their manager stated they wanted to spend money in his 1st transfer window and he had to step in and say they can't afford it.

Interesting decision by RTÉ to show Ireland v England womens game tonight on RTÉ 2 instead of either of the Champions League games.

UEFA have also decided to put Arsenal and City on the same day. I assume its because they have decided City are still no marks. Out of Barca/Real, Bayern/Dortmund and Arsenal/City combinations they had to choose who is the biggest club for broadcasters and chose Dortmund ahead of City. If Liverpool or Man Utd where playing this week the girls would be on the news channel and UEFA would have found a way to have them on separate nights.

Saw some speculation that the attendance tonight for Ireland might be more than the last Men’s game against Switzerland. The growth of the game in last 3-4 years is unreal.

Awful shame its not on a bit earlier. Think the FAI are missing a trick not making these matches kid friendly. Id love to bring 7 year old this evening, but just too late.
