Is it not fairly pathetic that non of these millionaires, which we all idolise week in week out, make a contribution and support him? He was there to support them after all!. The family is looking for pocket change to what this club has spent on donkey's salaries over the years. It's really disappointing to not see any of them make a donation
For all we know some of them have, just because it isn't made public doesn't mean they haven't, maybe they prefer to keep it private.
Maybe some have, but that's unknown. What we do know is the fans are raising funds but are the club? It looks absolutely terrible IMO. They should come out and fill that gofundme donation and give the family peace of mind that they can now go support Sean and help him recover
The SOS said last week the club are doing great work for the family. I personally think it looks terrible seeing people having a go at the club when they haven't a clue what they are or are not doing. Poor form.
Have heard this from a few people and don’t get it at all. I’d say if players want to make a donation, they will do it in private. A lot of them do lots of charity work and will have their own causes. Was actually surprised to see Jurgen and Seamus Coleman put their names on the charity page as they will likely now be expected to give money to every worthy cause connected to their clubs.... Was great they did put their names against it because it gave more publicly to the cause however not sure I’d do the same in their position.
The temptation to say this should be played in Croker is overwhelming!! Seriously though a great idea, fair play to both teams. Just a pity the capacity of Pairc Tailteann is shite at the minute
Hey guys, as part of my 50 Days of 5ks Challenge, I'll be running the Park Run in St.Annes, Clontarf on Saturday the 24th. Anybody fancy joining? I know a couple of people said they were in. We could all wear something red/LFC related. Anybody coming along, lets aim to meet there together at 09.00am. Hope to see a few of you.
https://www.independent.ie/sport/so...s-recovery-from-serious-assault-37532752.html Very nice gesture from Roma. Hopefully the club have offered some financial support as well it would be embarrassing if they didn't.
We had a bucket collection at a Donegal supporters club meeting last month raising €600 on the night, plan to do another after xmas
Tbh i thought it would be a lot higher by now but maybe bigger donations are going in without going through this vehicle
