The club are in contact with the family

    They are not finished helping

I know that for certain, people (not saying on here) need to calm down with telling everyone what the club should be doing

Fair play to Meath and Dublin playing on this. One of the Dublin footballers mentioned it on the Sports Awards show on RTE last night, to inform a lot of people who wouldn't have been aware. Hopefully there's a good attendance, and donations too.

Meath won 16 points to 1-11. Great cause and great atmosphere at the match by all accounts

Thanks to everyone who came down to the Meath Dublin game for Sean. There was plenty of red in with the green and blue!! The game was really well attended and was an enjoyable day out... Lots of money raised for Sean's treatment.

Close to a million raised the fundraising spokesman said. Much of it from relatively small donations. He made the point that you can't keep going back to these people and the next million and further will need to come from bigger, let's say, projects. Has there been any mention of a donation from LFC. Possible that they are doing this privately but whichever way its done I would hope they would be putting in at least 1 million.

Isn't a friendly between the two clubs, with all proceeds to go towards the fund, the obvious one here ?

..maybe time is needed to help everyone get past what actually happened, so next summer perhaps ?
