If you are into Mockumentries like the office, watch “people just do nothing”. i don’t know anyone else that watched it. But I thought it was excellent and pissed through it.
Sopranos was the first show I binge watched (on DVDs at the time). I was living on my own for a while as my girlfriend, now wife was waiting on a transfer to where I was living. Watched 3-4 episodes a night. Tony's sister was the character I hated the most, but she was supposed to be hateful really, it was great acting. When Ralphie killed his hooker girlfriend was probably the roughest scene I had seen on a TV show. First part of the last split season was a big drop in quality, picked up again for the ending but for the best that they finished it when they did.
Have to say I've really enjoyed the Storyville docs/films on bbc4 the last couple of Mondays, I'll be keeping a closer eye on them from now on. Last week it was about a fella in LA who bought a helicopter in the 70s and started covering news stories from the sky and last night it was about a young lad from the slums in Peru trying to make it in pro surfing.
I just got back into Better Call Saul, thought it was too slow when I first watched it and it probably was but when you watch 2 or 3 seasons back to back its great. Mike is still the same Mike.
White House Farm. Decent watch and from reading up on true events the series didn't have to overly dramatise.
Finished “Your Honor” last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Bryan Cransont plays the role the exact way he played it in Breaking Bad I thought . But definitely work a watch.
Only a couple of episodes in, but The Serpent looks like it's also going to be very good. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt7985576/
Watch all episodes last month. Very good. Shouldn't be long before its available on Netflix or Prime etc I'd say
I think I've seen a few recommendations on here for Sons of Anarchy and after getting over the initial cheesiness of it I quite enjoyed the first two seasons but something inexplicable has happened in the third season with their arrival in the North, it's just awful, it's like an amateur drama right now and the accents are worse than anything I've ever come across. I already feel invested in it to keep plodding along but I hope this isn't a sign of the quality dropping off a cliff already.
Yeah 3rd season was a bit mental and didn’t really fit the narrative but does play a part in the better seasons to follow.
Watched the first episode of informer earlier, shaping up to be very good. Anything with paddy considine in it is bound to be good
