I'm probably nostalgic about something that only happened a few years ago but fantastic to hear Gerry Armstrong doing La Liga again, I think he's an excellent commentator and knows Spanish football inside and out.

First time I’ve watch Barca this season and I’m even more confident we can beat these.

I am equally confident, but it's never that simple.

It won’t be easy. The bookies have us 3/1 to win over there. That’s a big price for a team who can score anywhere at anytime.

Stockport County won the national league north today. A championship team as recently as 2002 but been to hell and back since then with all sorts of problems. 6th tier of English football but averaging over 4,000 for home games and 6,000 at their game last week(75 away fans). My wife's Grandad who raised her, was a regular at their games for over 50 years and only stopped going when his wife died and he couldn't face coming home from games to an empty house. It was the only thing he did away from his family, coming in and sharing what had happened in the game was a big part of the experience for him and it was too painful when that went away. He still kept a keen interest in their results though and he would have been delighted with them winning the league today. He was the man I most admired in this world and we're thinking about him tonight because of his teams success.

A very good comment. I agree with it, although hope springs eternal, and I can't stop myself from hoping each week that City will lose points. And then I calculate 'ifs and buts' for other teams who will be playing them :p

Delighted to see PSG managed to lose their domestic cup last night, a terribly dislikeable club right now.

Would love Burnley to score 1st today. City do be rattled when they concede and normally another goal goes in shortly afterwards.

Burnley also have beaten the champions in the last 3 years in a row. Not beat City yet.

They aren’t the best team in the world but glad we don’t have to go to Turf Moor in the run in.

At least they seem to have a bit of fight about them. Dyche and Mee hsve actually been talking about wanting to beat City which is a lot more than can be said about Sours and Utd over last 7 days.

Exact same thinking, wouldn’t fancy us to have to go to turf moor in last few games.
You’d obviously fancy city to get the three points but city have dropped points when we not have expected this season too.

Wood is so brain dead. Really need to take those chances when they come.

In the realms of just needing a moment of good fortune here to get a way back into this league race! Hold out Burnley

Burnley are defending well, and in numbers. They’re a proven side who are difficult to break down.

The bookies know too, that a draw is on the cards. 0-0 was 22/1. Now with 35 mins left it’s 3/1 !
