With the January kick-off times due to be announced on 11 October, is there any sign that the presale procedure (e.g. guaranteed ticket for top games if on 13+) could change? I wonder if I should book flights for the January games in mid-October already; without being certain that I will get a ticket.
Can’t see them changing the ticket requirements mid season so I would assume it’s the same as first half
I'm struggling to think of a reason why it won't be. They'll have to offer something to new members otherwise they won't renew next season.
With last home game normally being 4+ and Chelsea already falling into that category, my guess is Villa might not be a free for all. Don’t think we’ve played a ‘cat A’ last game of the season since they added criteria to the last home game so I’m wondering how they might adjust it.
Luck of the draw I would think. No free for all in second half of last season as only remaining promoted club, Wolves, was the last game. On that logic, and the fact Norwich in the 1st game wasnt a free for all, I’d guess both Sheffield Utd and Villa will both be free for all. Can’t see logic where they won’t be!
Yeah Paul, because Norwich was first game of season - don’t think first or last goes free for all and the last always is a 4+. So without Norwich they didn’t put another game in as free for all. Personally I think they should have the 3 games as FFA, but they have stuck to it been the promoted teams only - except when first or last game
A fella I work with was showing me some package that he's using for Watford in December, some hotel and ticket combo deal that they have going on. Has anyone ever used this before, it's called the xxxxxxxxx I'm probably not meant to post a link to it so I won't but it looks to be legitimate enough on their own website.
As per site rules Please don't post names of places doing package deals I'll answer you the place you mentioned is legit if thats what you mean But like all places they will charge way over the odds They own a big well known pub in kilkenny too We don't want places like them to advertise the site here So we wont give them any advertising or promotion on here
Another article from James Pearce in The Athletic. Anfield needs expanding but capacity will not pass 60,000 for a while yet Hopefully the new identification process will stop the guy with 500 member's cards. I'm sure they're already working on a work around though.
Has to be nailed on. Would be less sure on Villa as they're a 'big' club but the rule now seems to be promoted clubs are free for all uless it's the first or last home game
Well fook it anyway. I'll start a thread requesting some on the chance people pick up a couple of pairs on the shit storm sale.
@diceyreilly from Leicester thread, I agree you should be able to return a ticket on the day of a match. They can bring in a rule of only returned if the sale goes through if they want (but the sale will always go through with the current demand). No point in setting a 14 day deadline for returns (or whatever it is) and telling people they should leave the seat empty.
Yeah. 2nd last home game of last season the flight took off after kick off it was that late. About 25 people didn’t bother flying. Would have gladly returned my ticket not evening expecting a refund so someone else could go. But no option to do so.
