Looks like the heatwave is over. Time to put away the paddling pool and BBQ until next year
Moved on from the paddling pool as it wasn't great for me. Rather the wet slide matt as I can do it with the kids.
Hope those in South, Southwest keep safe tonight and into tomorrow with Ellen in full swing
Floods and power outages no doubt
What an absolutely poxy day that was, thank fcuk it's almost over.
First cold spell this. Ver mild up till recently.
Anybody get snow yet..?
Bn a few flurries in Meath today.
Light covering now at 10.30pm
Some wind chill out there this morning. Wanted to turn back on my run.
Melting away a bit here. The wind is savage though. Like you Honda I was out last night and the out part of my run was down the teeth of it. Great coming home though I think Thursday is the big day for it.
Yeah its the wind that's a killer. I think Thursday is to be the worst.
Or the best! Depending on your point of view.
Snow is a cunt of a thing
Remember the last one in 2018 and that was fcuking horrific in work better not be the same
Beautiful this morning when I went for my run. Nice cover of snow but not a sinner around. Wind chill wasn't there either.
It's actually not that cold, it's the wind.
A mild Monday in the Pale
Glorious. Just out for a walk at lunch.
Factor 50 last week, wollie hat this. Baltic out there yesterday and looks similar today.
Great drying out all the same.
Expected to reach -3 overnight, mental.
Having said that, I think the seasons have shifted in recent years - Nov to Feb used to be the months that I recall being the coldest, but now its more like Jan - Apr are the coldest.
Likewise, as a kid, I think I recall really warm summers, across July-Aug, whereas now, it seems that Sept to mid Oct are better than June into July.
