Due to various reasons such as living out of the country etc when this started I never got into it.I had seen a couple of episodes in mates houses and did not want to watch as it looked excellent and I new I would one day get to see it from the start,I hate jumping into things half way through.

Anyway I am not a big buyer of DVDs etc as I will generally only watch them once (expect football/LFC ones of course) and then they gather dust.So with the full Sopranos box set costing close to 200 euro I was never going to buy that.

Then I found out that xtravision have started to rent out each season of alot of TV program's.So last week I got out serious one and it was excellent, very very impressed with it so far and I cant wait on till I have the time to get out serious two.

I think its great that you can now rent out these box sets as opposed to buying them, when I am finished with The Sopranos I think I will start on the West Wing.

Box sets are the best way to watch these shows, but too expensive so definitely a good idea for Xtra Vision to do this. I've been meaning to get series 1 of West Wing - never got into it but heard it's good so I reckon I'll rent it soon. The Sopranos was one of the best series I've ever watched.

Thats how I used to watch Lost and Prison Break, fantastic shows if you can watch them over a week or so as the stories move at breakneck pace and you can keep track of whats going on as its fresh in the memory that way but if you have to watch them over 6 months could bore you to tears.

I made it a bit of a mission to get the full Sopranos box set collection. I know that sounds a bit anal, but I love the show so much. Just finished watching the last box set and I love it even more now.

    Well worth it

Every time I got a new box set.. We watched the whole thing from the start.
I'd put it on quite a bit.

i have every boxset except the new one, looking for that to come down in price espicially since its only 9 episodes long.
excellent show that very rarely drops in standard(except for the slightly boring 5th series)

The Sopranos is the best show to be aired! I envy you going back to watch it from the start, some savage episodes.....one of the best is 'Pine Barons' at least I think thats the name of it and wait till you meet a character called Ralphie, and his phone call to paulies mother you'll be pissin yourself laughing

I have been told they have the West Wing but I have not seen it,they have a good selection so I would Imagen they do.It works out something like 5 Euro for a few days or 10 euro for the week.Just tonight we got the Sopranos season 2 for the next week.

    I've a load of box sets ....
it's the only way I get to see much of the decent TV shows ...

There's some really excellent stuff available and if you know where to buy it online etc, you can get it at reasonable prices (eh, nothing dodgy here btw before anyone starts :D)

    I've an idea .... I'll stick up a new thread shortly ....

Never got into this. Due to being young, chasing women and having sporting aspirations.

Seen a few episodes here and there, but don't think I've ever watched a full episode.

Think I might get the box set from somewhere and start getting stuck in.
