Snooker is by far the most boring sport there is! Bores me to death trying to watch that tripe!!

    Ronnie is some man though.

I was actually looking for a thread to talk about it but saw the last one got very little response and then there was a discussion about that power snooker *shudder*

I love it personally, have gone over for it for five of the past six years. can't believe it isn't more popular on here but suppose some view it as a dying sport.

    come on Ronnie!

Snookers a great sport. The skill level is unreal.

Apart from the world championship there doesn't seem to be great coverage of it on the television though. Maybe thats just me though.

    it's a lot easier than you'd think!

saw Doherty in the first session of a semi the first year. and Williams v Ronnie in a quarter the first year.

it's a free for all when they go on sale but a lot prob set aside for season ticket holders etc.

used to be a postal process and it was random selection but a lot tougher now when it's online. such small numbers!

it can be brilliant. but I once got stuck in a 74 minute frame before between ebdon and fu. horrible. horrible!! But then Davis v parrot a couple of years ago was funny :)

but this year was just rare cos a lot knocked out early. saw Higgins v Hendry this year and Ronnie again. great weekend away. nice atmosphere about the place.

I like watching it but dont think I could sit through it live, some frames/matches would bore you to tears (Ebdon springs to mind) I'd say when it goes to single table format it''s hard enough to see what's happening as you are a fair bit away from the table.

Love watching the Snooker.Haven't got to see much of it this year with work etc, But i am delighted to see Ronnie is back to his Best.Big shock at Judd Trump going out so early, especially against the Boring Ali Carter.

Miss Tabb also makes it worth tuning in for . :D

Heared on the radio earlier that carter suffers from crohn's disease, didn't know that.
Must be very hard for him, especially in a sport like snooker.
They said he has recently gone on a no wheat/dairy diet and seems to be working well for him..

Have a few relations with Crohn's - thoroughly nasty ailment. Judging only by how affected their lives are, have nothing but admiration for Ali Carter's ability to compete at the top level of his sport.
