Can't imagine the pain they have gone through.the fight and dignity the families shows is incredible. Was listening to Prime Time last night after our game and the story about the croatian fella that was murdered in Clondakin is a shocker. I couldn't fully understand what happened but the second lad that was attacked was kicked out of his apartment the next day so after getting released from hospital he came home to find his things outside the house and the locks changed.
I dont know the circumstances behind his eviction,but the atmosphere towards foreign people now is absolutely toxic. People are seeing these protests and its instilling fear and anger towards all immigrants. That poor man won't be the last and we're not far away from a serious assault on a politician either.
I'm not that clued into this, I get the similarities to Hillsborough in the fight for justice and the time and obstacles put in their way, what I don't get is the why? Who and what where they protecting for so long and why?
