Ye live cash games in Dublin can be pretty soft in my opinion. Colossus at the weekend in particular. Have started to gone off online poker and focusing more on casinos find it quite dull in the bedroom for a few hours staring at a screen etc. More relaxing and enjoyable live!

Won a poker tournament in Vegas. Was on my honeymoon. The wife was pissed when I told her I wanted to play but was delighted to spend the winnings the next day!!

Fitzwilliam club is closing with almost 80 jobs going.
Something to do with new legislation that has been brought in.
I wonder how many others will be affected it.

Sad to hear. Best place in the country for a game of poker. Won and lost (mainly lost) many a tournament in there over the years

Lads since we'll all be isolated I'm looking for a poker site that me and my friends can play against each other. I can't seem to find any site that allow this, does anyone here know of any site that will allow this

I was looking last year and there wasn't any. One of the big sites (Pokerstars or Full Tilt) used to do it but not anymore. Not enough demand for it.
I don't think there's any apps or Facebook games that do it either but if you do ever come across anything, please share it here.

Playing most with BoyleSports can’t remember who there server there server is but paddy power 365 and a lot of mainstream sites use them
Although for better tournaments with larger numbers and payouts I use poker stars

All week there was twice as many players as usual online on Bet365 and then last night there was triple.
Tournaments are still tough because you end up playing against the usual regs in the latter stages but the cash games were easy money.

Nick Nevin the Actor has set up a poker tournament online , on Poker Stars. He had a tournament last night and is having one tomorrow night too. I think he said the buy in one £1. I don’t have a clue about poker and have never played it, but there seemed to be a lot of positive reaction to his game last night on social media. Just thought I’d mention it here incase people are looking for a game .

Lol I thought I was just a good poker player. Joined poker stars over a week ago. I'm up a good few Bob playing cash games. I've noticed so many people are going all in so many times with most hands I'd fold.

Lads going all in with €5, preflop with KQo when you are representing KK or AA says it all.
I rarely play cash and much prefer tourneys but I am playing cash every day these days and it is paying well.
It honestly looks like newcomers have money to burn and are not even bothering with the lowest stakes but will play 5c/10c and higher.
I know the Corona virus has tragically taken so many lives and financially destroyed many many more...but every cloud...

Used to play quite a bit online but with the kids etc just haven't had the time - that is clearly not a problem now.

Were would I find a decent level tournament for €20-30 these days I used to Play at Paddy Power but went off it at the time.
