Ryan Sessegnon leaves Spurs on a free transfer. Mad how things go. I remember I was thinking we should be all over him when leaving Fulham that time
Alvarez to athletico who are usually struggling for cash 82m seems like their is something dodgy going on there
My sentiments exactly. Very good player but on what planet is he worth 82m. It does help balance the books etc but it's as suspicious as hell. Or else I'm missing something
Looks like City PR, the headline figure includes all add ons, the actual figure looks much for reasonable. It's about 65m euro which is probably right. He's a good player but he's just been run into the ground, world cup, copa america, all the city games and now the Olympics, way too much football for 1 player.
Excellent player and think on going rate be is well worth the intial fee when you see some of crazy fees for English youngsters.
Chelsea reportedly getting Neto from Wolves…how are these fucks still signing players all around them?
Neto is an excellent player but Chelsea will probably put the brakes on that. The FFP rules are really strange, they can continue to buy players on longer contracts and spend large amounts of money each window but doesn't seem to catch up on them.
Maresca was only complaining about a bloated squad at the start of the week. Now theyve signed another 2 and let one go. Strange way of trimming the squad. Theyve basically swapped Gallagher for Omorodion with Athletico and he was supposed to be one of the big earners in terms of a fee. Imagine that's curtains for Mudryk with Neto coming in - as long as they brought his doctors and physios with him (hasnt managed more than 20 appearances in the last 3 seasons) When it does all go tits up at Chelsea, it'll be spectacular
Looks like Liverpool will pocket £10m plus for Solanke after 20% sell on clause. Reported fee of £57m plus add ons. Not bad business considered they paid £3m for him and are getting back £30m overall
You can stick them on as long a contract as you like but you can only amorotize the transfer fee over 5 years - or at least thats how I understood it. Wan Bisaka to West Ham, with Utd buying Bayern fullback Mazraoui
Ten Haag must have gotten significant guarantees in relation to players coming in as part of his public humiliation by the Utd board, another two lads he used to manage at Ajax coming in from Bayern now. He's trying to rebuild his glory days one player at a time.
What has happened De Ligt since he left Ajax? I thought he was going to be the new Virg. If I was a utd fan I would be worried by…Eric fricking Dier kept him out of that Bayern team!
Just checked that as thought that could’ve be right. Looks like his started in 9 of of the last 15 in league. Or if you include the CL games then he started 10 of the last 15. Still that is more than I thought he had played in
I read somewhere that Chelsea have 8 first team goalkeepers on their books. That is insanity if true.
Heard that alright. I think I read they've signed 35 players since Boehly took over. That's 3 teams and 2 subs...its mental if true
The BBC could list the 35 players, take out a real one and insert a fake name and I guarantee no one would notice.
