I see Setanta have picked up BT sport as part of their package in ireland, wonder how much this is going to cost now as well http://www.joe.ie/entertainment/television/setanta-sports-to-take-on-bt-sports-coverage-in-ireland/
Interesting. It seems to include Espn in that package. Might be worth the few bob, lot of games there.
I cancelled Setanta at the end of the season. Looks like I'll get it back now. I originally was paying 16.99 P/M but then went to cancel and got a reduced rate of 8.99 P/M for a couple of months.
This is a complete disaster. I knew this BT deal would screw everything up again, it's added €17 onto the monthly bill. I'm half considering getting rid of the lot of them, no more sports at all but I'd regret it fairly soon. It's just a nightmare getting one or the other and ending up still missing half of what you want to see.
Happy enough with that as I already subscribe to Setanta for the NRL.Still expecting an increase for the extra channels.Time will tell I suppose.
according to setantas face book page the price will stay the same for annual customers and for anyone paying monthly they plan to keep the increase at an absolute minimum
Hi, Those of you with subscriptions to both Setanta and Sky need to get on the phone ... give a bit of a sob story about having to cancel, cut back your services as you can't afford them etc etc and you'll get a discount. It seems you could expect the following: - Setanta: 3mths half price (then call them up and go through the same phone conversation) - Sky: 20% discount for 6 months (same thing, then call them again). Granted, Setanta will get a bit more cocky now and may try got avoid giving discounts but thats probably all the more reason to try and get something now
Watch every single game online for free if you don't mind quality issues or in HD for about 40 quid a year and tell all 3 companies to shove their rip off prices up their arse.

Just off phone with UPC, asked them how this new service would affect my current Set Ire and ESPN I have with UPC, couldn't give me answer as they haven't a clue what I'm talking about..they do now. Told them Setanta were tweeting and posting this offer for last half hour. She said they would get back to me....
