It’s such a standout banner, given how high the standard of banners and flags on the Kop are, that’s saying a lot. Lovely to see it out again yesterday.

@Captain_Morgan has it. The prob we have now is storage of the polls, since the HJC shop closed. Not sure what the other lads with banners do now.

I suppose they have a local shop, or clubhouse, or storage room to store it for them. Probably best for us to find out how they manage it? We would have to consider what location would suit for it, as well as trust with whoever has it, along with a potential thank-you-fee to whoever is looking after it.

I have the banner here and Liamo has the poles in his house in Liverpool

If anyone fancies getting it out for Arsenal let me know and I’ll get it to you

Hey lads, I have contact with the Spion Kop 1906 guys. Would you like me to reach out and ask them how they store their flags?

    Hey guys,

Just been chatting with one of the 1906 lads. They leave their flags (flags and poles) in the corner of the stand between games, the spot where they usually meet. The guy I was chatting to said he will run it by the others but he doesnt see a problem with the IrishKop banner being stored alongside the 1906 flags. He also suggested that if none of the IK guys are around to hold it for any games, the 1906 lads can hold it for us.

Just let me know what you think and I can put whoever heads this up, in contact with 1906.

    Cheers

I’m there for Palace and Bournemouth so will voluntier myself to hold the banner for those 2.

Which of the lads on here are there most often ? If you like, I’ll put you in contact with one of the guys from 1906 and we can range from there. Could just be a case of Senior a whatsapp the weeks we have no volunteers ,to ask them if they can take it out.

Few typos last night there, was on my phone. If we can maybe get 1-2 people to volunteer to be the contacts with 1906 (Whoever is going to be on the Kop most often) post Christmas, I will put you in contact with somebody from their side.

As said, I will volunteer myself for Palace and Bournemouth.

    Cheers
    Conor
