Yeah a shame that one does not seem to be taken off. I did it myself once in the summer as part of a long run, nice enough course.

Moved the race to a Sunday a few years back and it changed everything! Once tickets sell out for something the panic creeps in the following year, they'll be flogging them at the finish line next year (if they didn't already do that this year that is).

They'd 15 thousand the last year it was on Monday, the year after they sold 19,500.

Love a auld 5km run, got a PB on Saturday in the Phoenix Park around 39 minuets absolutely delighted. Not bad on crutch’s but I’m in bits ever since, my calf’s are in bits can barley walk on my good leg since and my stomach is sore while walking.. never had a effect like this before but I did push my self a lot harder on this one. I did loose the water bottle after 1km and ran the rest without it so wondering could this off causd it ?

Usually do it but Dubs are on in Clones at 2pm so will have to give it a miss this year.

The goodie bag is mental it’s like a kids Halloween bag after they finished going door to door.

Yeah doing it again myself this year - it's a great event, well organised, and a nice flat track
