We are trying to build a community here for all Irish Liverpool fans,we don't have a problem with people looking for tickets as this is an integral part of what we as football fans are always on the look out for. What we do have a problem with is people who just register looking for tickets and are never seen again,to build a community it requires give and take.We are getting bombarded with requests for tickets so the back room staff have decided to put a couple of minor restrictions on people looking for tickets,if you are here for the long term these will not effect you at all.Anybody who was around this site in the run up to Athens will understand, the place went crazy and a lot of these lads have never been seen again. If you are here and contributing to the community we will try to look after you. So as and from now you can only request or look to pass on tickets on IrishKop if you have been on the site for more than a month and have made more than 30 posts. If anybody not meeting these two requirement's posts looking for tickets your thread will be removed,if you repeat post the mods will ban you. These restriction's are subject to change. Posts from people that only use to site to shift or buy tickets will also be monitored and action may be taken These rules apply to sellers as well as buyers. Anyone found touting tickets will be banned and reported to the club Also letting other members down on promised tickets will result in a permanent ban. We hope you all understand why we have taken this decision. Also a reminder that all tickets should only be sold face value (with CC / post costs),if you are offered tickets above face value ether by PM or on the site please contact any Mod.
ticket requests Hi I have given this webiste address to a few of my friends who are all huge liverpool fans and in fairness will probably be looking for tickets at some stage or another - so i will pass on this information to them.
Fair play jennie get them all to join, the more the merrier as you will see there is a good friendlt bunch on here!
And deleting stupid posts, rude posts etc so don't think the 30 posts will be that easy (mind you, anyone who is a bit gabby will still get through 30 posts in no time at all )
The amount of people who are only interested in tickets and not interacting is shamefull but hopefully this will help. Good idea!
I imagine in time Pam and the mods will get to know who is interested in the site and not just lookin for tickets and who will return favours also. People who quickly rack up 30 posts and then want tickets all the time will not have the same chance of getting tickets as someone who has been on trips before, got to know everyone and helped out with tickets themselves if they can. This is a great site with brilliant trips and the mods are doing great work to ensure that it not only stays that way, but gets even better
Good idea tbh it was'nt something i thought about when i signed up to the site. But if there are ppl on the site who might be able to help each other out with tickets thats an added bonus for me on joinging the site. I'm liking the site so for. Some forums can just be boring but this should be good. But yeah thats a good idea to have some restrictions in place.
As a lurker more than poster it will take me about 2 years to reach 30 posts!! Good idea in fairness fair play.
Can you not just disable their ability to post in the ticket section until they reach the requirements...it might help with the workload somewhat...
