poor auld mancs is right, though I'm sure they'll console themselves knowing that Tevez is a ready made replacement. still, an inability to score against 10 man Reading has put me in fine form
i was disgusted after the game.had to work this morning and a manc was giving it loads about ye were lucky only have gerrard etc etc.started winding him up bout reading.he offered me the draw with them and i said no
won't make much difference to utd's team Tevez is the same kind of players as Rooney. Utd bought players that are already in the team the likes of scholes, giggs, carrick for example Anderson,Nani and Hargreaves are alike not too mention the similarities of Rooney and Tevez will be interesting to see how the league looks after ten games. For ourselves if we can convert more of the chances we create we would win games handy and wouldn't have to depend on Gerrard getting us out of a pickle. I think this situation will improve, Torres and Babel impressed me in the game yesterday, the link up play between Kuyt and Torres gives me confidence and the fact is when we attack there is more players in the box in suppporting the play
Hopefully Tevez will not be fit for the Pompey match...they've got two tough fixtures away next, with Pompey on wednesday and the City game on the weekend...hopefully they keep dropping points...
Rooney out for two months 13/08/2007 - 13:15:07 Manchester Untied striker Wayne Rooney is to miss two months after fracturing his foot on the opening day of the season against Reading. Link
They are lucky they got Tevez in the end, lets hope the pressure is to much for him... as there is a big difference between knocking in the odd goal for the cast of eastenders and playing at a top club.
Two big games coming up for them this week, away to Portsmouth and Man City. By the time the full time whistle goes after the Man City game next Sunday, we could still be ahead of them with 2 games in hand
