Meh, ara, not that bothered really, just for consistency - no point in this thread rolling on. I want to forget about all this asap
Just give me a chance to say goodbye to Roy. I don't blame him for trying, I blame those that offered him the job. How could he turn it down? He probably gave it his best shot but that just wasn't good enough. No hard feelings. I hope he has a happy retirement.
The right decision. All the best to Roy in his next job. At least in praising the clubs fans in his exit statement Roy has gone out with dignity and fair play to him for that
Thanks to Roy for trying anyway, might not have worked out but he got us through the group stages of the europa league at least. Cheers.
He's 1 player that deffo won't be sold in this transfer window as he can't play for 3 clubs in 1 season
I'd have no problem with keeping koncheskey for the rest of the season as back up. A few weeks out of the firing line and he could be useful in the Europa league and as cover for Aurelio. Ideally I like us to buy a new left back but I think we've more urgent positions to fill.
Good bye, good luck and to be honest, though I dont like saying it, good riddance Roy. Now where did we put the receipts for poulsen and konchesky???
Thommo made a relevant point that on a human level it was important that Hodgson was relieved of his duties. OT tomorrow would be no place for someone to be hung out to dry. I want to feel sympathy but he will be well compensated for his suffering.
That could be it for Hodgson now. I hope Harry gets the England job so it'll disrupt everything at Spurs. Wish Hodgson all the best. Wrong man at the wrong time with the wrong philosophy.
Good luck Roy, you drove me mad at times but I know in your position I'd accept the job too and at least you tried. Never good enough but he can't be blamed for that and he left with his best interview yet.
Tbh he kept talking about how he wanted to add to the squad etc etc, how did he think that would make the current players feel? Madness!
