Expecting the likes of Firmino and Fabinho to be benched with the international games they have just come back from , plus others have played two games like Henderson and Wijnaldum

Probably see Milner start this one as well , personally like to see Shaqiri get a run out

Hate games after international break. Coming back from everywhere and no time to work. Will be changes with Europe next week.

If you could handpick a game after an international break, this Newcastle side at home would be high up the list. 12.30 kick off is not ideal because I think it takes away some of the advantage you generally get from a home game, but all things considered it's a nice one to have.

I'll be having cans on a train from about half 8 to try and restore some of the advantage

Newcastle have one win in 4 but strangely that was away to Spurs. They were beaten by Arsenal and a Norwich side who you could say were having that initial home-game promotion bounce. Then they drew with Watford. Without a doubt we should be beating them provided we don't go in cold or cocky. I'd also expect to see 4 changes in our lineup for the reasons stated above. Let's keep the winning train going. We'll either score in the first 5 minutes or it will be a grind (yeah, keeping my options open!)...

Should be a very comfortable day for us on Saturday, these are the type of games we used to really struggle in (straight after an international break, home game against a team everyone expects us to beat easily etc). We are a different beast these days. Think we'll score at least 4.

Maybe it's anecdotally, but I remember us being very sluggish after international breaks last season. Hopefully just get a win by any means and keep our noses in front.

It's mental that every game feels must win already but when you get 97 points and still don't win the league, that's how it is. Should be 3 points for City anyway in the evening kick off.

Definitely be interesting to see will Klopp freshen things up.

Shaqiri could start this one after pulling out the Swiss squad and might perform the same role as he did in some home games last autumn.

    Adrian,
    TAA, Gomez, VVD, Robertson
    Chamberlain, Henderson, Shaqiri
    Salah, Mane, Origi

Matip, Fabinho, Gini, Milner and Bobby all kept for tough CL game.

Did we rest many players after the international break in the autumn last season? I don't remember it, if we did.

I doubt Klopp will rest many players for this, if any. Same team as 12 days ago, up the Reds.

Well could be lesson from last season when lost all three away games in the CL. Seemed to be gassed near the end in a few of them, so could be looking to keep a few big guns fresh.

A win away in Naples this week would make the rest of the CL group pretty straightforward

I have it in my head that we played Spurs after two international breaks last season and if so then we won both games, the first (which would have been this coming fixture) we were absolutely excellent in but we nearly threw it away at the end and if I'm thinking of the right game they were a stonewall penalty away from a draw in the dying embers of a game that they were comprehensively outplayed in.

Things can get mis-interpreted in print so just to be clear I am not having a go, genuinely interested. If it was "one of those days" and we did drop points, would you be one of the more vocal critics of the team as you are so confident of winning going into the match? I have absolutely no control over the game, the same as you, but I always get worried when I see comments like that. I am not superstitious in any way in my general life but can't help thinking we'll jinx it if over-confident. (That makes sense in my head, hopefully it makes sense to someone else reading it!)

All sides will have a bad day and will drop points in football, that's a given. Klopp has turned that into a rarity with this team and it's great that we have the swagger and confidence going into a game that we can blow teams away at times or grind out a win if things aren't going well. Going on the past years performances, I'd be surprised if we don't hammer Newcastle on Saturday. I don't go in for this "jinx" stuff regardless of the result!

The line up is a very difficult one to predict, with Napoli and Chelsea up next, players being on international duty, players not being on international duty, players travelling long distances etc.

With that said I will go with this line up...
    --------------------Adrian------------------
    TAA--------Matip-------VVD-------Robbo
    ---------Milner ---Gini---Ox-------------
    --Salah----------Bobby-------Mane--

    Tough one to predict alright...
I'd say shaqiri on the right of front 3 with Salah down the middle and mane on the left.
Ox, Milner and Henderson behind them.

Adrian, Matip, Milner, Mo and Mane all had the 2 weeks at Melwood. That's half the team, should be fresh enough with those guys to beat Newcastle.

Think the team maybe this with Fab and Bobby given the extr a few days.

    Adrian
    Gomez Matip VVD Robbo
    Ox Milner Gini
    Shaq Mo Mane

Would love to see Shaqiri play after him prioritising club over internationals. Give Bobby a rest after all the travelling he's done, we'll need him on Tuesday
