The Punter is usually the holder for field kicks which is also a pretty specialised position. The ball comes flying back and needs to be precisely placed with Laces out (Ace Ventura)

Earlier this season the Titans Punter got injured and it was almost as bad as kicker getting injured as the back up holder was a QB and fcked up a critical attempt at the end.

The Irish Lad Dan Whelan is punter for Packers is also holder for kicks. Was on a pod a few weeks ago talking about the pressure

What a performance by Monaghan. So many debutants, written off by everyone, 2/7 for relegation before season started. :D

Great game that. Fenton has more than enough in the bank to be forgiven for the cough up at the death. Good blow out for both teams.

I always have to laugh when players say the “we were written off all week” line and they about 1/10 favourites to beat the opposition but it totally applies for Monaghan!
They are written off for the league every year. O’Hanlon looks quality.

Could you imagine the headlines if David Clifford scored a hat trick against Dublin?

I'd like to see Clifford try his hand at the small ball and pick up a few club titles before he comes after "King Con".

David Clifford makes it all look so easy. An absolute joy to watch.

Monaghan need a miracle now. So many injuries but Beggan a monumental miss

Great second half from Monaghan with big players back Division 1 journey comes to an end.

Never seen a game with as many handy frees (for both teams). Tyrone probably had 7-8 yellows, couple of real cynical ones

Dublin absolutely flying at the moment. Its great to see. ( for dublin fans )

Con O Callaghan is the best player so far this season. He's playing so well. Cant wait to see him again in the final easter sunday.

Handy he wearing orange boots too. Eyesight isn’t what it used to be. :)

He's in serious form. Hope to see it continue into Championship. He's unplayable at the minute.

    Jesus Tyrone were shocking.

I think you'd be OK spotting Con without the orange boots... he's the one that's 25 feet in the air catching the ball.

Dubs look fierce at the moment. Obliterated Tyrone today, granted they were desperate but that's Dublin down 7 starters. All of a sudden the strength in depth we haven't had appears to be back. Scully, Kilkenny, Howard all responding well too losing the jerseys last year. Con has rediscovered the spark and the quick early ball in to him and Kilkenny is causing havoc.

Cian Murphy and Ross McGarry put there hand up for championship minutes too.

Cluxton, Gannon, Fitzsimons, McCarthy, John Small, Sean Bugler, Costello, Paddy Small, Mannion all to come in to come into the starting team. McCaffrey to come back as an impact sub.

    It is looking very exciting.

John Costello on the management ticket now too, the constant willingness by these men to give there time astounds me.

Was randomly at Cork Armagh at the weekend, great game for essentially a dead rubber. Conor Turbitt from Armagh is some footballer.

My own county Westmeath after gaining promotion to Div 2. We will do well to make Sam Maguire as more than likely will have to reach Leinster Final to do so, although possible as on the opposite side of the Dubs.
On a side note, would love if they got rid of the fisted goals and points!

I got email to say I just get a 5er discount on tickets, surely that's not right? League final usually free on season tickets I thought?

Edit never mind that was just from my club membership
