no surprises there. Isles have been struggling for a long time now. They've went asleep at juvenile level I think, and ballymun have taken some of their turf and done great things with it.

A lot of isles' former Dublin players left the club to coach elsewhere, and didn't really put anything back into it. Mick Deegan, Wayne McCarthy, Charlie Redmond, Keith Barr etc.

However, Crokes put 10 goals past St. Brigids only a month or so ago in a league match ;)

Any Dubs here renewing Parnell Pass? Just wondering if any have received a notification in writing for renewal that the county board have posted.

Yeah, he has seriously brought dublin backwards, relegated them and Split the squad. Too easy for galway today. I think we had a few more gears if needed.

that was the case for Mayo's first game as first round championship game was included in the season ticket price.

Yes. Make sure they do scan it. I never got the credit for Nowlan Park last year. Luckily enough I had attended all the other games to qualify for final ticket.

12 Week ban for Connolly looks to be on the way for his reaction towards the linesman in the game against Carlow. He's really made an awful name for himself over the past couple of years. Usually I would never defend anyone that had any kind of altercation with officials and this one is no different but the amount of harassment that he gets on the field is ridiculous. In the build up to the incident he was surrounded by three players all pulling and dragging out of him and he reacted in a moment of madness. Nobody ever gets any kind of punishment for pulling and dragging out of him and then when he does react it's obviously him that gets highlighted and dragged through disciplinary processes. Obviously he shouldn't have touched an official so he'll just have to accept whatever ban gets thrown his way and hopes that his team can get late enough into the summer that he can play again.

Madness that he gets 12 weeks for that when you see some of the shenanigans that goes on during games. Think they have been waiting to get him for a while on something, how many black cards did he get in the league? He is marked man

The pusishment doesn't equal the crime.
It's damn right ridiculous that, that could end your season.
I do agree h should get a ban. But no more than 2 games.

The refs in GAA are shite. They always have been. Not even sure what game I was watching may have been down and Armagh. He booked someone and then produced a red. It was his 1st yellow though.

If Connollys touch on the official is 12 weeks I wonder how many weeks the 3 Carlow boys who manhandled Connolly will get?

No problem with the ban per se but ridiculous that precious talentless paid match officials get this outlandish level of protection while we have our sublimely talented footballers working their socks off voluntarily getting beaten up and down the field with no protection what so ever.

If I where him I just wouldn't bother anymore.

    The game is mad.

There's a lot of blame to be shown towards the media and their anti-Dublin approach. If it was a player from any other team, or any other player on Dublin it might have been a different ban. Absolute farce yet again.

Where's all the uproar for the Kerry drug cheat? Seems that's been swept under the carpet.
