Did anyone see the game today?

How did he get on? & does anyone know how he is getting on in general at West Brom.

Having played 90 mins of every league game this season, except when he couldn't play against us, Pulis has come in and frozen Wisdom out. He hasn't played a single minute of the last 3 league games. As far as I know he isn't injured either.

    Very disappointing.

More than a little bit strange alright, assuming he's not injured.

Maybe he's not Pulis' style of defender ?

That said, I'd have thought there would be conditions in the loan agreement, referring to him getting game time and if he didn't that either we could recall him or charge them more if they don't play him (given he's then not gettting the match experience, he was originally lent out to get).

Maybe but at the end of the day its up to the club he's loaned out at if they think he's good enough to play every game

Good to see you don't take these things too personal mate ;) :D

Fully appreciate that alright mate, but I'd like to think if he's not going to get some regular game time there over the next few months, that we'd recall him (assuming the loan deal permitted us to) and maybe play him a bit ourselves ... even if half the time, he was playing for the reserves, it would help get him more integrated with fellow players.

He was playing up until the Spurs game when he had a nightmare. Was slated all over Twitter for that game. Dawson who is a centre back has taken his place and done well. He's more a pulls player too huge and great in the air. Brunt is playing left back. Personally I would be surprised if he made at westbroms level never mind ours.

I wonder what the future holds for him. Pulis did not fancy him at all although seemed to play every week before then.

Another one on the list of random English full backs not as good as Glen but look like they're trying harder so it's sound ;)

I don't think he's the required level. However, I'd rather keep him as a squad player than increase the turnover of players this summer. He'll do a job like..

Is there a Glen Johnson helpline like the one setup when your man left 1D. You should give it a call if there is :pac:

Can imagine the attitude of the people on the other end of the phone. Answering the phone when they felt like it, switching some callers off completely, falling asleep on the line... the odd bit of great therapeutic help from time to time

Either keep him or buy manquillo, buying 2 rightbacks would be madness.

Kolo is supposedly getting a new contract, wonder if Johnson will be next?

Could also spell the end for Norman

    Yeah less turnover the better

To be honest Manquillo, Wisdom, Flanagan all much of a muchness to me as back up for right full. Flano seems to have the most about him but his injuries are a major concern

I wonder is this another high earner in Johnson gone and Wisdom effectively replacing him? It's the way favoured by FSG!

Regardless of wages I don't think many would mind that swop somehow.
