Morning! On the night shift and all I can think of is Brendan's tricky reds and of all the possible scenarios the next four games could bring! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
And we won't. In days gone by, the pessimist in me would always fear the worst at this stage, but just like the City game, when we were being overrun by them, and looking like there was only gonna be one winner, I just KNEW we would score the winner...this season is different! We are gonna win the league! BELIEVE IT! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Greatest thread ever created. When we win the league, Captain Morgan should be knighted or equivalent. On a side note, have noticed a lot of REDS coming out of the woodwork lately, on IRISHKOP and in general. Suppose it happens to all successful teams and the more support the better. But remember coming back home on the boat after losing to Wigan at home, Gary Caldwell scored I think and my god half the heads weren't around supporting us. Anyway gone off topic, I have dreamt of winning this league for so long I spend most nights thinking about it and how I'll react, tears I imagine, tears of happiness with my REDS mates who have been with me through the rough and smooth. Please god we carry on as we are and as someone said probably Captain Morgan, I think we're win it at Palace!
I was thinking the exact same thing myself! Though I must admit I took me a good while to get on board! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Me too. My brother in law, who I've known now for about 7 years is all about the title push now and apparently has been a life long supporter. I never heard of this before IN 7 YEARS! He's sound though, he'd be the first to admit he's a fair weather fan There's definitely a lot more chat about the office here about Liverpool. Support for Liverpool is much more vocal these days.
*Imagines Ger at season's end sitting on a throne sipping wine from a chalice, donning crown and red regal furs, while Rafa the dog gorges upon mutton bones served by wenches...*
Indeed, I was at football last night, and had a Liverpool jumper on. Went to Dunnes after who were closing, but the security guard says "ah we'll stay open for a Liverpool fan" Then in Tescos doing the beer run, one of the workers came over to give me a carrier for the beer and says "there's no charge for Liverpool fans" And the girl at the checkout "Ah your a Liverpool fan, are yous gonna win the league this year" , she then says "I hope not, I'm a Chelsea fan" and she gave me a few of the parking tokens, which was sound of her. But I've never seen that before, all of a sudden people are now talking about us. It's weird. I can't wait, my birthday falls on the day we play Palace, and that's when we will win the league. It's going to be epic. I'll cry a lot, because it's my birthday, and I'll cry if I want to.
Not at all All season I've been travelling with near enough the same group of people!! There's not a different or better bunch I'd rather see us win it with
Kenny was asked do you think liverpool will win the league His response was brilliant They get to the top of the league then people start to doubt it !! Rather than ask me for a reason why liverpool will win the league why don't you give me a reason why they won't
Ha he really is the worst nightmare for the media. I'd say they all cried tears of happiness when he left as manager.
