Watched Lone Survivor last night, cracking action film. Basically a two hour shoot out!

Watched it myself and enjoyed it.

One thing I didn't like was the rolling down hills was way too exaggerated and over the top.

Other than that it's a good film.

    7/10

Watched American Hustle and Las Vegas tonight.

American Hustle is a waste of over two hours. Its boring and drawn out. Definitely do no go see it in the cinema and waste money on it.

Las Vegas was Grand. De Niro, Freeman and Michael Douglas in it. Kinda like the Hungover except watered down to a OAP version.

    Hi,

Sorry Ron, but I enjoyed American Hustle.

The Mrs. also made me sit through Saving Mr. Banks unfortunitely. One for fans of Disney & Mary Poppins, but everyone else should run a mile ....

Looking at the ratings it got on some sites, it seems a lot of people enjoyed it bar me. I just couldn't get into it. Found it too slow, and even thought the ending was quiet poor.

One film to look out for over the next couple of weeks which i have just Seen is Out of the Furnace with with Woody Harrelson and Christian Bale in it. Found it a very good film. Should be out in the next couple of weeks.

Saw it before American Hustle and it also stars Bale. His way better in this performance and imo its a very good show. Casey Affleck & Woody Harrelson play a great part as well.

I've seen American Hustle. And I thought it was very good. It's supposed to be drawn out. Gives an interesting insight on the fraud and corruption that was prevalent at the time and with different levels of the social and political ladder. You need to pay attention to it closely, as there's a lot of small things that happen in it that most people seem to miss. Then towards the end it all makes sense and your like "Ahhh, that's what that was about".

It's a film for the intellects ala Charlie Wilsons War & Syriana (great films also)

Seen it last night, and its decent. Its like a Water down version of Old Men doing the Hangover, except not as mental. Id give it a 6 out of 10.

You should really ask questions like that before committing to see something ;)

It's not great to be honest. I gave it a 5or6/10

The best things in the cinema at the moment IMO is, American Hustle, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and The Butler.

The Hobbit might be a bit of a spectacle in the cinema, but not much happens in it.
