My problem with Gervais is he is as dogmatic as the people he rages against, e.g. rages about people who believe in religion and shove it in your face by raging about religion being a fantasy and shoving it in your face. That is hypocritical. I don't believe in God, when you die you die, lights out, you're gone, but if other people want to believe differently I'm not going to take the piss out of them or abuse them because they don't believe the same as I do. He appears to be as worked up about animal rights as another person might be of trans rights. He doesn't seem to be aware of the disconnect.
Watching stranger things, just finished season 2.... Brilliant so far. Reminds me of an advanced Goonies
Finished Ozark last night. The last series was a little dragged out but the ending was good when it can often disappoint in other shows. I'm waiting for all of Saul to drop next month before I watch it in one go. So I have an Ozark shaped hole to fill. I've seen Queen of the South mentioned. Is it any good or any recommendations for a programme of this type? No fantasy or horror programmes like Stranger Things please. I just don't get them!
Starting watching it again and hooked. Agree with Babbs though, the breaking bad connection definitely helped
I see Disney overtook Netflix recently with overall numbers, Netflix would really need to get the heads down now and make some moves.
Bye bye Disney. Started a show on it yesterday though called Under The Banner of Heaven. 2 episodes in, dark, but very good so far.
most of them streaming services can be got much cheaper if you register through the likes of Mexico, Argentina, Turkey using a VPN. once you're signed up you don't need the VPN.
