We have praised those players for all that they have achieved.

But that was a shocking embarrassing pathetic display.

Mentality weaklings. We still occasionally put 15 minutes of high intensity football together and either can't sustain it or feel sorry for ourselves when we don't score.

I was driving to Wexford while the mstch was on so as far as I'm concerned it didn't happen.

Arsenal chucking the league run away to Dyches Everton too, oldest trick in the book.

Nunez has to bury that chance at 2-0, might've been a different story if he had.

Given how the match was going I'd say we still lose 3-1. We had a spell of possession but were clueless with the final ball.

Some amount of shite crosses from Gakpo. Really embarrassing performance again.

I hope Klopp has the energy to turn this around but its far from a given.

This squad is in crisis!...42points cant come quick enough in this form....
I don't think we were as bad under Hodgson !

Dont care what anyone says, Nunez & gakpo are both duds...

Looks like a bunch of players that know something that’s happening at the club and they dont care to much at present
Total lack of desire that’s unacceptable imo

I'm raging most weeks now but he's the one I feel for the most. He's performed miracles since he joined considering resources he had compared to his competitors. He's looking at Chelsea. UTD, City and now Newcastle spending for fun. Knowing his character he won't jump ship after signing his contract but if he left in morning that would be the end of any major trophies again under our current owners

One theory I have is that the player's were within 2 games of immortality, so they obviously hoped that the owners would see this & would bolster the squad to get us over the line for this season, but they again sat on their hands while almost every team outspent us...so maybe the team are like us & are royally p#ssed!?...

..Obviously we let our golden goose in Sadio leave without any resistance as far as I can see...he probably got pissed with all the focus on salahs contract all season......the press was nearly always initiated by him from the front....it doesnt mean others cant fcuking learn this !

We were and had Poulsen, Konchesky and Jovanovic playing . I wouldn't swap them for any player in Evertons squad nevermind our own. Nice reminder that things could always be worse :)

I agree. Everyone talks about the mental drain of last season on the players but Klopp must have been really affected too.

I hope he has the energy to rebuild again but he needs proper backing. If Bellingham has decided to join us fair play to him but he could well change his mind if he feels we'll be in transition for a few years.

20 games in and we're closer to the bottom of the table than we are to the top. Only 2 wins on the road and our performances seem to be somehow getting worse. Really worrying times at the moment

It’s rare even under really times bad to get beaten so convincingly on the road. Battered this season by Brighton, Brentford and Wolves. Hopeless earlier in season against Forest and lucky to get a point at Fulham. The signs were there at Fulham that something was off, the extra yard or two here and there. I really thought the break for the World Cup and the fact a lot of players would get a good rest would mean a strong rebound. It’s been worse than abysmal.

Top four is well gone and gear everything towards Real Madrid. I think the fact the home leg is first is advantage. Klopp and the crowd will be up for it, similar to City at home earlier in the season.
