I really think we need to forget top 4, it’s gone.
It’s time to just re-set, focus on sorting our basics out and when the summer comes we need to hope that we have funds available coz this squad is like a big lemon that has been squeezed to bits and we’re down to pulp and pips now.
    We need to start again.

I'd sell Gomez in summer tbh. Get some much needed funds in.

I wish Liverpool supporters would stop accusing the players of not caring or trying hard enough, but it's the lazy go to option when you can't explain what's wrong so I'm not optimistic of my wish coming true. Its hard to understand if you've never experienced it, but when your confidence is shot it impacts every part of your game. Those lads haven't stopped caring or trying, they're more desperate to do well than any of us.

The positive I'm taking out of yesterday is how good Bajcetic is. A huge talent performing well in the most difficult of circumstances.

Club falling apart around you, much more senior players struggling for any consistency and confidence and up steps a 18 year old in midfield to try and take control of things. I'm there for that all day, he's signed up on a long-term deal very recently too.

Just because we are in bad form now doesnt mean we can expect to be "in transition for a few years". We nearly won the quadruple 9 months ago.

I agree with the first half of your message. I didn't realise only 2 away wins but I'm not surprised either. As you said, Fulham away showed that we had problems to solve - the players weren't at it.

Re 2nd part of your post:
Top 4 looks very unlikely based on our current form and since we're 10th in the league. However it's not a normal February - there are less games played than usual by now. We have only played 20 of our 38 games. We are 11 points behind 4th with a game in hand. Newcastle could have a bad spell between now and May.
We have 5 of the 'top 6' at home between now and the end of the season. We could get on a run of wins. Unlikely, but we could. We have the players on paper to be able to do it. 15 wins of our 18 games would get top 4, 14 wins might do it.
Top 4 is very unlikely. But it's definitely not gone.
