Was listening to the Cristiano Ronaldo there, and you could hear fans singing in the background along to the tune of "Greatest Midfield In The World". Admittedly it could have been the Sporting Lisbon fans, but seeing as they've been nicking our tunes lately (Won it 5 times and Stevie G song are two that spring to mind) my money is that the scum have gone along and taken up this one too. Seriously guys - try something original would ye and stop having such an inferiority complex from living in our shadow.
In fairness to them they were singing thier version of it before our best midfield in the world started, the blusshite also have a version too thats why alot of die hards dont like it sung at liverpool games!

A few years ago I stupidly bought a ticket from a travel agent for a Liverpool game at OT. I paid good money for a ticket in the away end and when I got my ticket in a hotel in Manchester it turned out it was for the East Stand. It was a truly horrible experience and I always remember a song they were singing to that tune. No idea of the words though.
