    v Spurs (a) L/LC

    17:30 Local/GMT. Match Thread.

Hopefully FT and RK can resume their partnership upfront for the second of 5 league trips to London.

Game likely to be tough, but it's the one weekend where you want to play away, as it's the reverse of the last game of the season. :)

    What reception will Robbie get?

Robbie always had the respect of the crowd at Spurs and i would expect nothing less of them at the forthcoming fixture...

Maybe we should change the Forum to "Next Match/Last Match/ Next Match after the Next Match, and then the Next one after that again".....

Technically it may not be the next match, but it is only 3 days away.

If you're still that offended , wait until tomorrow to post on it.

I don't know tbh. Redknapp was a hero to Portsmouth fans last week, he was booed there yesterday.

Just because we give former players a good reception when they come back to Anfield, doesn't mean that everyone else is that welcoming. They may see him as walking out on their club, and therefore contributing to their current problems.

Spurs will really be up for it now after last night's comeback. We'll need the strongest possible team against them.

You may be right. I think the spurs crowd will be hostile to Robbie. If they arent they will be when he scores the 2 goals in our 2-0 win.

This week we have to face two clubs with players trying to impress their new manager. It would have been better for us to catch Spurs before 'Arry arrived when they were feeling sorry for themselves and dropping points to everyone. However, we may have benefited from Tony Adams' team selection last night (dropping Defoe and packing the midfield), would 'Arry have done that?

Does allowing managers to transfer mid season distort the Premier League as a competition?

I'm looking forward to Keane going to White Hart Lane fresh and getting his first PL goal. Although I'll take 3 points however they come. I'm hoping to see Torres, Masch and Agger back and delighted Rafa has them rested.

Spurs will be on a high after recent results but I don't think Harry rested too many last night.

This is the most crucial game that we have Torres for, its going to wide open with plenty of space for any of our players that know how to use it and i think that Gerrard,Torres and Keane/Babel should be able to knock in a few goals quite comfortably so it will be up to our defence to keep Spurs at bay.

I'm hoping that Rafa goes there to beat them but as is ofter the case we might be going there to stop them playing and trying to hit them on the break and if thats the plan then it really is essential that Torres is playing because nobody else is near as effective as him at that game plan!

Got the 3pts against Pompey last night decent result Spurs will be really up for this with the return of Keane and with Harry drivin them on so i think we have a tough match ahead of us but With Torres back and Mach and Agger more than likely back in the startin 11 we have enough strength to beat them and continue our good run. 2-1 Liverpool id say

I wouldnt be panicing too much, having a great team spirit doesnt make up for not being able to defend to save their lives, the Gooners got 4 and probably should have had twice that were it not for all the showboating instead of getting the job done and Liverpools defence isnt as all over the shop as the Gooners.

Im sure they will make it tough and work hard but are we to believe that Liverpool wont be up for it or Keane wont be chomping at the bit to get his first league goal against them. Class should win out in the end (touch wood!)

Somehow, I don't think we'll concede 4 goals in one game, or even two in the last minute.

As for the showboating, that's what Arsenal specialise in, not by winning trophies.

It'll be a tough game, devoid of quality (From Spuds)..

They'll try to make it hard for us, so its essential Rafa sends a clear signal before the game, by starting the best available 11 to him.

Hoping FT is back in tandem with RK, as I think there'll be goals to be had for our lot if we play well.

If we do, the Spuds wont be able to live with us :)

I'd like to say 3/4-0 win, but Ill settle for the 2-0 win this weekend.

Robbie & Nando on the scoresheet!!
    :)
