Was at Cobh Ramblers for the league game against Dundalk (1-0) last Saturday. It was my first time there as I am a City supporter. I just went for the craic and a few pints. I could not believe it, there was Roy Keane 10 yards away from us watching the game, taking notes, although neither team had any player that will make the grade at Sunderland. No-one really bothered him which surprised me. At the end of he day, he's just an ordinary guy who hasn't forgot where he started. Mayber that's why people love him.
Keano is on the lookout for young talent after whats happening at Reading there are bargains to be made if you looked hard enough. The game he was at had at the time a Dundalk team unbeaten and seemingly walkin away with the First Division title.
Ha and their best performer is a Drog on loan..Shauny Williams, not much else up there thats worth scouting!
Went past tolka today, it seems Leeds were playing there, good crowd. Was tempted to drop in but had other arrangements.
