So Mourinho reckons there are 5 teams in with a realistic hope of winning the title next season, with the "big four" apparently a thing of the past now that Spurs have gone out on a spending spree. Anyone out there think Spurs actually have a realistic chance of competing for the title?

They have a good squad but there midfield is a question mark which will let them down this coming season plus robinson is a liability

Spurs will do well, 5th again. Jol doesnt seem to realise they are very weak on the left and I wonder if their midfield spine can live with us, Man U, Chelsea and Arsenal. They also will drop silly points. Will be a couple of tough games for us though

I cant see spurs been close to the top but I would love to see them over take Arsenal and finish third.

I don't mean to be pedantic, but that would make Spurs 4th not 3rd :D

I think Spurs & Arsenal will be competing for 4th spot this year. 2005 season Spurs had one of the best defences but they seem to lose that when they sold Carrick and never really replaced him. Their centre defence pairing is one of the best in the league but they need to provie cover for them from midfield. They will still score a bag of goals though which will help them win more games than lose.

Lets be careful here guys. Last time the arse were written off they went through season unbeaten. THey have some excellent players and they could easily be on a par with us. I think The arse will be top 4, all of whom will be closer.

Don't think so either, too much disturbance at what was a very settled club and I don't mean just the loss of Henry.

I reckon Spurs may well nick 4rth.
