Definitely the old way,i'm giving cards to people (many i don't even know) for some of the showcase games of the season because i can't afford to buy all at once. It's a rock and a hard place scenario in that you don't want to lose your place high up the ladder after getting there but so much cost at once means you have to pass them on.

Any home games i'll get to will be spares for the foreseeable future yet i have a members card with 18 credits.

Again what do you expect,i'd love to afford to go to every match but i can't,why should i lose my position because i'm skint now? is it your belief that only people who can afford to go every game hold it over the rest of us?

The systems not ideal but what do you do?

Old one anyday, game by game is the way to go and more so in these current times and yet the club go and do this.

Pts was the best thing ever and then they scrapped that.

Postals where also very handy and they scrapped that to.

The club along with most of them are pricing the real football fans out of the game.

Probably prefer the new system as I think its easier to plan ahead (not that I seem to be able to get cheap flights anyway). Also I like getting it out of the way in a few days - a lot less hours (overall) spent online.

But without a mortgage etc I am fortunate in that I can buy tickets to as many games as I wnat without having to worry about paying the bills.

The only downside with the new system is paying for all your tickets in one go, and yes, most KO's are not confirmed but don't all Season Ticket Holder's have the exact same problem. In only 4 separate mornings this season, I have 'wasted' just over 1 hour in total to get the tickets I need for the year. Compare that to 19 different mornings in the old system. A big thumbs up for the new system from me. :)

If you have the money I suppose the new system is better. I don't so I prefer the old one.

    I'm very much torn -

From an individual point of view, the old system wins hands down. If you have the credits from the previous season, then you're guaranteed your ticket so it doesn't really affect planning per se. You know that before the sales and it's always going to be frustrating. And you don't have to have a few hundred pound set aside at one tiem!!!

From a supporters club point of view (as a committee member), the new system allows us to plan ahead and give our members greater notice. And 2 crazy weeks per season for 5/6 of us buying like mad is better than organising 5/6 people every few weeks for sales. But I feel that opinion is in the minority! And obviously affects a lot less people. It was tough in July gathering the money with such short notice. But it is fine this time around. (Ahead of tomorrow's madness of course!!)

I think the money aspect of all games together is ridiculous - it's like a season ticket without the away perks!!!

So I would opt for old system.

But I think it would be a lot fairer if they staggered it - 13 credits first and then maybe 7 credits and then general. It would probably be easier for their system to cope as well.

Actually, just saying it that way would make me change my mind!!! The money factor is annoying with it all being at once but that above sums it up for me!

Again there is arguements for both different sales.

Yeah this new system is great if you have the cash to buy alot of games on 1, 2 or how many fancards you have.

But regarding planning your travel in advance isnt really true as tv companies still havent decided on what games they are moving and showing etc so unless you take a gamble you can't go ahead and book anything.

Down side to this new sales is the obvious, the money you need to spend at once.

This new system also suits the touts as they can see how many they have for each game and organise buyers.

Ideally the club should bring back the sales game by game and use loyalty per game, 18/12/6 etc as regards of sales but this wont happen to that extent as this puts alot of potential new members signing up for a small amount of leftovers and the club wants as many members to join up.

Kills me to sell on our tickets and fancards and miss alot of the games .

I'd prefer the current system if they split it in 4 sales instead of 2

It's madness buying tickets now for games in may especially with no tv figures knly announced up to January

There's always the option of getting a full refund if a game doesnt suit whereas a STH loses a pound or two for each game they return.

Old one. The new one isn't far on the people who can't afford 4 or 5 games on in one go . Also people don't know if they will get time of work or not. It's such a scramble and most of the decent skins aren't getting sorted.
