Hadn't even copped this section tbh. Been here since late last year, and since finding it havent actually posted on any of the other forums I joined over the years! I'm Mark a 40 year old, living in Carlow. Obviously a lifelong supporter, still have the first shirt I badgered mam into getting me from '73 - so guess you can say I've been through it all with this club of ours, but thankfully old enough to remember the REALLY good times Happily married to a good woman who understands that yes you can love two things unconditionally Try to get over a couple of times a season, generally the Derby and one other, finances allowing of course. Can be found in the Barracks (the pub not the Garda version) on match days with 4-5 other nutters screaming at the TV. Heavily involved with a local charity, The Holy Angels. A special needs daycare centre. Our own son attended before he joined the Angels cheering on the Redmen in the Sky, so my shirts usually have his name, and a pair of wings on the back. Love the forums here, great, knowledgeable fans, who can disagree without falling out, unlike some places I've visited. Ummm.....thats it, talk to ye all soon!
Welcome mark and nice intro. When i was in college in carlow used to watch some Of the games in the barracks and some in o loughlins. Two decent spots.
Welcome Mark. Very sorry to hear about your son. Will keep an eye out for The Holy Angels charity, and let us know on here if you are ever doing any fundraising and I'm sure IK will come up trumps for you.
