i have read a few reports that he has been approached by B/Munich. i dont believe it because i dont think i would be that lucky. and i dont think the Germans are that silly. b/m is a good team now so why would they put that at risk:eek:

He used to come on the old forum rafa bashing and all doom and gloom about things which is his opinion and one he is entitled too but he could never back it up or argue the point of why he feels that way !

maybe your right and he is just on a wind up !

why would Rafa leave a team who are unbeaten in the laague, have some world class players for a team who are in the Uefa Cup....

This happens quite a bit on forums, where an outsider comes in, posts something controversial and sits back and laughs while the regular forum users get all defensive/p**sed off. Ignore it lads and move on to next thread...

I'd normally agree but unfortunately this fella has form from the previous incarnation of Irish Kop. I could've told you who it was without seeing the username. And yes things did get heated ;)

ignoring the "opinion", I think if we want him, Rafa will be with us for the long haul. He's got pretty much everything that he said he wanted when he left valencia, a lot of it other clubs wouldn't be able to offer. Job security, huge level of control and say over everything that happens in the club, strong financial backing in the transfer market, relative freedom in bringing in youth and building for future teams, proof of the clubs ambition for the future in the construction of a new stadium and freedom of hiring club staff.

Rafa is a control freak and not many other big clubs could/would give him as much power as he has at Liverpool. The term 'Rafalution' has been around for years, since he took over, but its actually very relevent. The control he has, and the way he's using it in his plans for the future are nothing short of a revolution.

I'm just surprised that Irishpaddy can type... surely it must be tough to hit the right keys with those clumsy paws of his  Although we can't be sexist, it could be a bitch...

Personally I think this could also be his downfall, he has taken over the youth team, has no assistant manager so is basically running the club top to bottom.

I think you need at least a number 2 to bounce things off and bring a different perspective, if things arent going well its good to have someone else there to help come up with a new plan rather than adopt the 'sit tight it will all come good approach', in the days when losing 2/3 matches in a season will cost you the league changes need to be made fast. Rafa wont make changes he sticks to what he wants to do regardless, this is where I can see problems down the line if things dont go as planned.

With rednose over in Mancland he rules the club but still has flying monkeys in tow.

Agree with this very much. Was praying we'd get in Sammy Lee or Gary Mc, someone strong who has had a hand at managing (even if not too successfully in Sammy's case), who would bring alternative plans and ideas to the table. Even just someone to provide Rafa with some food for thought, or to poke holes in a particular strategy if he's getting a bit carried away. I have a lot of faith in Rafa's ability, but its lonely at the top, and can make you lose sight of the big picture.
