ok heres a hard one for some of you..whos the better stevie g or king kenny? of all the players that have played for liverpool these two always come up as the best two ever so take your pick. in my opinion stevie is better for all hes done and i consider him to be the best midfielder in world football ever.
i would say stevie but that is due to the fact that i wasnt around when kenny played for us. but for the life of me i can only imagine how good he was if people talk about him in the same breath as stevie.
Personally i dont think its right or fair to compare players like that Steven Gerrard is an amazing player but he has not ready to take the kings throne just yet, by ther time he retires he may just do it though as he is approaching his peak now Dont forget on playing ability alone some still will hold souness ahead of Gerrard
I say Fowler , due to the fact that without his goals i shudder to think where we would be I think the kenny/stevie debate is setteled by how old the voters are most of the older lads will pick kenny and my age group will pick stevie simply because we see him play week in week out and only see kenny in videos ect.
So most of the people who've seen both pick Kenny is that what you mean? Kenny for me just for the way he could orchestrate a football match. Pure Genius as they say.

Hard one to pick.Kenny played in one of the greatest teams to ever grace the field,but sometimes Stevie is in a league of his own.I'd give Kenny the nod because of the silverware but hopefully that'll change over the next few seasons.
Yep thats it, in my opinion i wouldnt be able to say kenny was better because iv seen stevie week in week out for the guts of a decade, and only know what my da and others tell me about kenny and only seen in videos etc, but people my da and uncles age who have seen em both always (imo) seem to say kenny hands down, the player they seem to compare stevie with is souness.
this debate should only take place when stevie retires. He should not be judged when he still has more to give. If he leads us to no's 19 and 6 before he hangs up the boots i think we could have a very interesting debate on our hands!!!
I think Kenny was marginally better although stevie could take his throne by the time he`s finished. Maybe this question could be fairly answered when stevie retires.
The King for me, because Stevie has a lot more to give and actually hasn't passed Souness in the playing stakes for me so far. When Stevie hangs 'em up, that will be a time for debates and comparisons, should be a good one, that's if any of us are still around of course!!!
The King for me also. But I would say people will only realise how good Stevie G. is when he retires. Two brillent players playing for the biggest club in the world... The double winning team in 86' was Kennys best ever season. He played Paul Walsh up untill Christmas and the come in a ran the show. My boyhood hero. Kenny got better the older he got. How good will Stevie be as he gets older.
the poll is still very close the 2 players are world class i know its not really fare to pick one, but with stevie retiring how can you possibly replace him its a day im not looking forward to at all.
In an era where we were not as dominating all before them Gerrard would get it nine times out of 10 but Dalglish is the King. King Kenny for me.
I think when gerrard's career is over and a few more trophies in the bag, a few premiership titles and champions league winners medals he'll go down as the best ever.
