As you know I have lung fibrosis,(IPF) awaiting a lung transplant,and i know times are hard, a few of you have asked if there is anything you can do, heres your chance if you can do this I would really appreciate it- all money raised is for Irish Lung Fibrosis - Jim Egan is the doctor, looking after me. Wicklow 200K Cycle sunday 13th june For those of you who are not eligible for the Women's Mini-Marathon, or if you prefer a faster mode of exercise, the countdown is on to the Wicklow 200K Cycle which will take place on Sunday, 13 June, 2010. This year the cycle will start and finish in Greystones, Co. Wicklow an the route will largely be the same as the 2009 route.(greystones -rathdrum via avoca and ashford) Once again Professor Jim Egan and a team of cyclists will take on this challenge to raise funds for ILFA. Hi Pam I'd love to do something, but am not the right man for either event .... How about paying to watch the Women's Mini-Marathon or sponsor some outfits for the competitors or something ? ;-) Jokes aside, are there ways to sponsor competitors perhaps ?
I hope a few of the lads will do the cycle, if so i have already got some sponser's, so these can go on the cards of anyone that will do the cycle
you'd want a fairy decent bike to take part in and train for something like that pam and they don't come cheap.i don't know if there's anyone on here in to cycling,hopefully there is and all of us here on irishkop can get behind him/her/them.. i'd be banjulixed on my oul war horse..

Can't do the cycle cos don't have a bike and wouldn't hack it i don't think. I will sponser you on friday ciara. also will be doing the dublin marathon in october and will raise funds for this cause. . .
