Paul - more than welcome to join in, more we have hopefully the more we can raise. Like the rest just make sure you have the correct gear. Lets hope its not LASHING rain like yesterday. That and we dont walk alone (no pun intended!) With Ciara I'll do a revised list and see just how many we have.
I got the backsack and jacket out of lidis the other day and they seem to be worth the money, seen as its a Halloween hike does anybody fancy dressing up for the first few km for the crack?or would it be to much gear to carry?
Bit too much to carry. That and its weather dependent I think Mark. I think the next day be good to crash in a pub and do that and see just how much $ we raised?
got the jacket myself must get it outta the packet went for the trousers too but the smallest waist size was 38 and that was one pair most of them were 40+ although there was one open and it was a 42 but didnt look it.strange stuff

Hi All, Hope the fundraising is going well and your all not too drunk from todays news! The latest plans is to have a couple of scoops after our 22 K hike in Nancys Murphy's. I am going to try and get the planners to call the pub and arrange a small reserved area for us. We are trying to get a bus at the finish line Finally please do have the correct gear and plenty of food, and a warm drink when hiking. If you do drop off at the half way point unfortunately you will need to find your own way back or arrange a collection. Thanks YNWA Justy (I need cars if possible for half way point. If you can help please PM me!)
sounds good justy,my fundraising has ground to a halt in work due to one of the lads doing a skydive for the irish cancer society, which the company is raising funds for this year, and a sister of one of the other lads need an urgent operation so we done a whip round for her.im around the 250-300 mark though not sure of the exact amount.
