I hadn't thought of that but I have to agree with it. The other night v Palace he was shown on camera during the match roaring at the players from his seat in the stand. He is a manager to be. I remember after we beat Arsenal in the cup (I think it was), seeing Milner beside Harvey Elliott - twice his age. The experience he is passing on must be extraordinary.

I had him nailed as man of the match by halftime but over the 90 take your pick we were that impressive. As mentioned, what an inspired signing.
Some pro, keeps going, mister rock solid. You think he should be well down the pecking order but forces himself into the side all the time. Great signing.
Best player in midfield last night, I knew we would drop in intensity when we went off. Great performance, top pro.
Nice achievement making 250 appearances for us . I’d say he will end up staying around and becoming part of the coaching team. Would be a good move by the club too.
I remember when he arrived I thought we'd get a couple of good years out of him before age catches up and he moves on. 6 fookin years later and he's still a valuable asset to the team! Unreal.
250 puts him 80th on the club's all time most appearances list. Would need 27 more to get up to 70th. Possible in another season over different competitions but probably unlikely given he'll probably get less and less opportunities from here.
I rremember saying it on here after his 3rd game(0-0 against Arsenal) that he was excellent and looked like a brilliant signing already which in hindsight was an understatement. What a signing.
