See Keita or as Carra likes to call him Kite-a has tested positive now. How many players have to be positive before theres a halt called to their proceedings?
Tranmere had to field a very weakened team yesterday and only had 5 sub due to several cases. The chairman said they had to go ahead with the game for fear of being detucted 15 points.
Where is the 15 points coming from? There should be clear rules at this stage, x amount of players infected/ruled out results in something very clear, either in 0-3 scoreline or a postponement. The Ireland game today is a perfect example of how easy this can rip up plans. What happens in the scenario where a keeper gets it and the other keepers are deemed close contacts? There can't be confusion, it needs to be a clear outcome if 3 keepers are ruled out.
Dunno where the 15 point section comes from. Perhaps it's a rule for not fulfilling a fixture. I'm not on Twitter and dont have the quote. Just repeating what was said on ssn
If a PL team has 13 or more covid negative players - game goes ahead. (agreed rules voted on by all teams)
If this season doesn't descend into absolute chaos,it will be incredible. They got through the run in last season with very strict procedures and huge discipline when the country was taking the guidelines more seriously. It's not possible to keep the same discipline for this length of time, outside transmissions are much harder to avoid now, especially when you throw in the international breaks and European fixtures. When you add in there is next to no room in the schedule for rearranged fixtures then it becomes even more of a minefield.
