Hello, has anyone got a good recommendation for a fitbit? I've checked online and Versa seems to be newest one out. I've never owned one so I'm brand new to the game. Ideally it would track steps, distance, calories, sleep, play music and pick up calls.

Is a smart watch better to own or are they relatively similar?

    Thanks.

Is it for yourself or the missus? Personally I think the fitbits are a triumph of marketing over substance and I would go with a garmin but I know when I got one for herself she wanted the fitbit cos they were a lot sleeker and more discreet on the wrist. I've had running watches for years and have always gone with garmin, they've never let me down. I think the samsung ones look good too but I haven't heard how well they function from someone who has one.

It's for myself. Ideally i'd be able to leave the phone at home and use the watch to track distance and calories and play music.
