Pity this one is not on regular TV. With the length of our injury list at the moment and the Cup Final on Sunday, we could see a pretty unique line-up tomorrow night, hard to predict. I'd normally see this as as good a home banker as you could get but if we have 3-4 kids in the mix and Adrian in goal it could become an unexpected battle. Maybe he'll go with a weakened side and load the bench like a cup game? Very hard to predict what way he'll approach it.

Has to go as strong as he can.
We are in a title race and need three points.
Is salah good to go ?

Yeah i would be massively shocked if we just throw out a league cup 3rd round team here. Problem is front line might resemble it if rumours of no Jota, Nunez or Salah starting!

I can see Klopp going with

    Kelleher
    Bradley, Quansah, Gomez, Kostas
    Mac, Gravenberch, Jones
    Elliot, Gakpo, Diaz

Maybe Chambers for Robertson. That's still strong enough to beat Luton. That's effectively resting Virgil, Konate, Robertson, Endo, Salah, Nunez and Jota, while getting more minutes into Kelleher, Bradley, Quansah, Gomez, Kostas, Gravenberch, Jones and Elliot.
Salah from the bench to ramp up his minutes too. Or start Salah with the aim of taking him off early-ish, Jones and Mac to the bench and Elliot into midfield with McConnell.

Luton are quite physical though, so that might mean Virgil starts.

I'd say Klopp will start whatever strongest first team is available to him for this one to be honest. Can't see him taking any chances, if the game is wrapped up early he can make subsitutions.

Can't see that many changes myself. I'd be surprised if salah ,virgil,Robertson, nunez and Endo all don't start.

This is not a gimme game.

Play as many any senior fit players to get the 3 points. Sounds wild but I’d prioritise this game over Sunday.

    Kelleher
    Bradley, Virgil, Konate, Robertson

    Endo,
    Macca, Gravenberch

    Gakpo, Darwin, Diaz

Think Darwin was a precaution, defo would be careful with Salah even if he is fit. It’s a long run in and he is needed long term.

A must win game. Particularly with City dropping points at weekend..
My only real thought re line up is Gomez on bench. Coz he can cover all positions in back 4.
Try to wrap up game ASAP.
Luton will create chances. They did on Sunday. They've lost 2 in a row. They won't want to lose 3 in a row. They are in bottom 3 now. A draw will get them out. So I expect an extra 10% from them to get a result they need.

Is it a new tactic to make a single substation at half time?
So it doesn't use up one of your 3 windows. I've seen us do this in a few games. Not all injury related.

I dont know what the line up will be,because along with the usual rotation needed as we get to this stage of the season, I dont know where we are with knocks and fatigue to players who could play but might be seen as a risk,so it might look like a weakened team. But I dont think Klopp will approach it any differently to how he would if we had a league game this Sunday instead of a cup final. In other words,I dont think he'll prioritise Sunday over this one.

I'd play a "first" team myself, I'm just not sure whether it will be as strong as some expect, but we'll see tomorrow night.

I definitely dont think it will be as strong as some expect, but it often isn't when we get into a hectic run of fixtures.

    Kelleher
    Bradley Virgil Gomez Tsmikas
    MacAllister Endo Gravenberch
    Elliott Gakpo Diaz

That will be the team, Mo and Darwin in reserve.

I assume Luton are missing their big target man that withdrew from the warm up on Sunday. They are half the team without him.

I agree with prioritising this over Sunday. Need to get the 3 points in the bag early and then rest a few of the attacking half.

I agree that Gomez should start, he's been excellent this year and has been benched 3 games running which has been harsh on him, I just can't imagine it will be at CB

    I'd reckon:

    Bradley - Quansah - Virgil - Gomez

with the same 6 in front as you have.

Here's how Liverpool line up for tonight's Premier League clash with Luton Town

Kelleher, Bradley, Quansah, Van Dijk (c), Gomez, Endō, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Elliott, Gakpo, Díaz

Substitutes: Adrián, Robertson, Konaté, Tsimikas, McConnell, Clark, Nyoni, Gordon, Danns

Mo Salah and Darwin Núñez miss out due to muscle issues ☹️
