Anyone going in to town on Saturday that’s on the 12:15 Ryanair from Dublin?

There’s two of us that will share a taxi in if so.

Lads thanks a million for all the suggestions, hopefully find somewhere with it on but not overly pushed if we don't.

Booked off peak return train ticket for this one from Manchester Airport as National Express do not suit.

I'd need to be getting 5.26 from Lime St after the game. Google Maps reckons its a 40 minute walk from Anfield to Lime St, however could probably do it in 35 or break into a light jog if neccesarry, so could leave right on full time.

Hate leaving earlier to guarantee getting a taxi into town.

Question is when I get to Lime St is there likely to be a queue to get through tickets validator or just sail through? Ages since I got the train

Google maps is giving it 2miles, which is 3.2km. I'd do 10 mins per kilometre at a decent pace, so would do this in 32 mins. You'd be tired enough after it, but wouldn't need to run.

You should not expect a queue at the ticket validator when going to the platform. Only time when there is normally a queue is when a train arrives and people want to leave the platform. I usually walk to town after games and 5.26 train could be tight if you have to wait a couple of minutes when leaving the stand (especially in MSU). May be worth standing just next to the exit in 90+ minute and you can rush out once the whistle blows.

Yes it's bang on 40 minutes Gary. If you leave on the whistle or say 4.50 you will be grand. I have often done it and jogged some of it. The odd time you can get lucky with a bus when you go past the valley.

I'm arriving in Liverpool on train at 10.30 for this one. Any recommendations on where to go for pint and food? Probably watch the early kick off and get some atmosphere as well.

No service on the Northern Line today between Moorfields and Hunts Cross serving the Airport. Rail replacement buses in operation.

Hope everyone’s got their name badges with IK username on so we can easily slate eachother in the airport.

Seems like half this site is on the 12:15 from Dublin:D

Would only do 7.50 from Manchester again after 3pm if was in a group tax job. Made it back for train but it was delayed getting to Victoria and 3 minute to spare for connection to Airport. United at home at 3 also explains why no one else was on this flight. Was about 15 young United lads completely locked having the time of their lives. Reminded me of the good old IK days were LFC were dreadful but the days out made up for it.
