No Ibe & Sturridge an injury doubt. Skrtel will surely come back in. Big question is whether that's part of a back 3 or a back 4. I think Gerrard will start in a front 3 possibly. Borini did ok when he came on the other night too so he might be in the managers thoughts.

It's also a joke that the other semi final kicks off the exact time as a huge Premier League fixture. Sky again belittling this great cup competiton. Semi finals at Wembley too is another thing that I don't agree with but I suppose it gives some people a chance to get to Wembley & see their team play.
I'd be surprised if Rodgers didn't start Gerrard not matter if he deserves a spot or not ? As i expect he will want his experience on the pitch . Feel Skrtel v Benteke is going to be a huge factor

Didn't know that. If Sturridge is out and Ibe is out as well, it leaves us light up front. Gerrard or Borini are the next likely options, or play Moreno and push Markovic up further.
Did the FA not have an opportunity to have the arsenal game at an earlier time(12.30pm eg) as the sky game was already slotted in for that kick off?
Probably did to be honest. I just wanted to have a go at Sky This game week in my opinion should be moved to a midweek and only the FA Cup semi finals should be played. Brings more focus onto the competiton in my opinion and gets everyone's attention.
I agree while Liverpool are in it, but if we weren't in it I'd probably sooner have it as it is but that's just where the FA have allowed their top domestic cup to fall to. It's a bit of a sham that the FA do let it happen though, it's no wonder the cup is devalued year after year when they're putting what is realistically a bigger game on in the league at the same time. Very few neutrals would pick Reading V Arsenal over Chelsea V Utd.
I don't fully know how the whole TV situation works to be honest but what I mean is that they put the game on at the same time as a huge league game. They can surely control the time of the FA Cup games or is everything out of their hands?
