In people’s opinions , do people think that Arsenal TV had a factor in Emery getting the sacked. They behaved the same way they did with Wenger, the same way they did with Emery. They come across as a horrible bunch .

If I was an Arsenal fan I'd like to think my board doesn't pay attention to whoppers like them or Piers Morgan but in reality they do influence a lot of fans. Plus mainstream media are heavily influenced by fans on social media and fans take the attitude they're having shaped by all these things into the stadium.

i reckon more non-arsenal fans watch AFTV than arsenal fans do, the negativity is just oozing off the thing.

Would Poch consider this one or is it too close to home?

Surely poch will stay away? Lack of investment and fans sit on there hands supporting the team. The social media element of arsenal support is embarrassing.( I know ours can't be great times). I can't see Rodgers going there

Pochettinos next job will be far bigger than Arsenal or Spurs.

Poch made all the right noises a while back about how he would never consider managing Arsenal (due to Spurs) or Barca (due to Espanyol).
I'd say he'll keep his power dry till Perez (or whoever is in charge at Real) sacks Zidane.
Cant see any reason he'd want to try Arsenal, they need an entire rebuild from the back up - front line may be ok, IF they can keep Auba and Lacazette, as theres a a lot of noises about both looking elsewhere.

Allegri is being linked and may fancy the job if for no other reason, he knows how to defend, and nobody else at Arsenal seems to. If backed financially, might be a good fit.
ATM I think the Arsenal job is one even Sam Allerdici would think twice about taking.

Just tjhinking after I posted that, wonder if Arsenal will try tempt Arteta back? Pep has been bigging him up for the last year as a top manager in waiting. He's been learning from one of the best for a few years now.
Then again, will Arteta think - another year - 18 months and Pep might decide its time to call it quits, and I'm in line to take over the richest club in the world.

I wonder what redman tv and/or the Anfield wrap would’ve looked like in the Hodgson days?

Watford have sacked manager Quique Sanchez Flores after Saturday's 2-1 loss to Southampton, saying "ultimately results have dictated our decision".

We bloody play them soon too. Hopefully they don’t get the “new manager bounce “‘when they play us.

I know it’s about giving yourself the best chance of winning some points but it would be a brutal run of games for a new manager to come in and try turn the tide

"There probably is [a clause] in most manager's contracts. It is all hypothetical," Rodgers told Sky Sports.

"My focus is very much with Leicester. I made a change nine months ago and I have been very happy since I came here. We still have a lot of work to do.

"Most manager's contracts will have something in but my focus is here."

Looks like Rodgers is open to Arsenal move

I was having a laugh reading the comments this morning, he obviously wanted to be respectful to Leicester and not just say I'd love the Arsenal gig but this reads very much to me as a come get me plea. To be honest I think he'd be mad to turn it down if he had a chance at it but I honestly don't believe it could ever work out for him there. Leicester play the blueprint football that suits him, really good defensive shape with players suited too being very disciplined and playing on the break. Arsenal are porous at the back and would ship a huge amount of goals for a long time under him.

To be fair to him they weren't playing that football when he arrived. He deserves a lot of credit for how they are doing.

On the Arsenal job I think he comes across as a bit of hoare there. If he jumps ship so soon it will be the end of him if it doesn't work out at Arsenal.
