I won't fault his effort,he's giving his all but there's just nowhere near as much there when he hits the gas. He's not as quick,he's not as strong,he's not as sharp and his decision making is gone for a burton. It's frustrating to watch and I have to remind myself it's not his fault because he's still giving 100%.
He seems to be taking one extra touch more than he needs, lacks a bit vision to it seems, maybe mental fatigue. Could probably say the same about all our forwards with the exception of Jota at the moment.
Even when he's playing shit he's always involved. Never shirks, never stops working but I think there's an element of mental fatigue with him right now as physical if that makes sense. Especially when you look at his honesty inside the box and his theatrics outside of it. He's just making the wrong decisions a little too consistently now. Our left side that has produced wonders over the course of 3 seasons is basically a cul de sac these past few months. Would love to see both Mane and Robbo be told to fuck off to a beach for a fortnight but here we are at the business end of a season.
Should have acted a bit better at fulltime tonight Klopp reckons it's all sorted but still didn't look good
Klopp will nip that in the bud fairly sharp, no better time than the nect game for mane to show why he should start and prove it that way, but hes been poor this year hes said it himself and the team won tonight which is the main thing
I know nothing stays the same forever. But the comment from mane, saying will tell us about his future after final. This doesn't sound promising
