    Aye, even that other team made Gerrard to be a world beater with his goal...in fairness, it was very executed goal by Gerrard but at his age, he's having a laugh over there!

    Two documentaries will air on RTE 1 in the lead up to the euros. One will look back at Euro 88 and the other Euro 2012.

    These are being shown at 7.30pm on RTE 1 Tuesday May 31st and Tuesday June 7th.

    BBC have one or two due on as well. One on Euro 96. BBC Wales also have one due.

    Ahead of Friday's friendly international with the Netherlands, Paul McShane, Anthony Pilkington, Alex Pearce and Jonny Hayes have been cut from Martin O'Neill's extended squad for Euro 2016.

    All four, however, will be on standby. The Irish manager is set to name his final 23-man squad for the summer tournament in France on Saturday next.

    Aiden McGeady was at today's training, prompting speculation that his loan move at Sheffield Wednesday may be over.

    The Owls are currently preparing for next Saturday's Championship play-off final against Hull City.

    Italy 1-0 Scotland FT. Anything to be learned from it? Heard Italy were in complete control despite just the one goal. Do Ye reckon Italy organised that friendly against Scotland to try get a "feel" for what it'll be like playing us?

    Martin o Neill said he has gone back to his club to assess the injury as they know a lot more about his history, looking doubtful though.
